Inspiration #10

Wishing you all a happy new year and hoping your start back at work has been gentle and productive!

This is the last of the "Inspiration" series blog posts! New year - new blog series - watch this space for the first in the new series coming soon...

Here's a little update of news from Marigold the Maker HQs...

Mindful Drawing

  • The first live online Mindful Drawing 6-week course starts TODAY - Tuesday 5th January 2021 from 5.00pm - 5.45pm UK time. Join me for 45 mins of live guided mindful drawing exercises and ease yourself into the week and make a positive investment in your wellbeing - "It's like yoga for the sketchbook!" (Beth Morris) For full details click here. Only a few spaces remaining - BOOK HERE to secure your spot!

  • The online "Mindful Drawing Lunchtime Sessions" for design firms WATG and Torchbox are proving to be a successful weekly wellbeing initiative for employees in these testing times. It's great to see companies investing in their staff's wellbeing and creativity. If you or your company are interested in booking a trial session contact me here and I'll send over the details.

  • The pre-recorded online Mindful Drawing Course on my website proved to be a successful new addition this year - thank you to all who purchased the course and I hope you are continuing to enjoy unlimited access to the 6 sessions whenever you feel the need. For more details and to purchase unlimited access to the 6-part course click here.

  • The weekly "Draw Together" sessions in the Still Point Sketchers private Facebook group were a great community builder as we went into yet another period of lockdown. It was lovely to see so many people join the session and simply draw and chat together every Friday at 11am Uk time. Sessions are back up and running on Fridays from 11-11.30am UK time over in the Still Point Sketchers Facebook group from Friday 8th January 2021. Click here to request to join the Facebook group. Look forward to seeing you there on Fridays - just bring something to draw with and something to draw!

  • And the recent Instagram Live IGTV Mindful Drawing Four Part Series is available for replay anytime of the day or night here.

  • The A-Z of Mindful Drawing Techniques is still in construction but is top of my list of "Projects to Complete in 2021" so more news of that should be coming soon...

Online Courses

  • The uptake for all my new online creative courses has been overwhelming this year - thank you for all who attended! They were a complete sell out! It's been fantastic seeing the outcomes of your new Mono Printing, Block Printing and Ink Making skills appearing on social media - thank you for sharing and long may it continue! Creativity will get us through this and there's plenty more to come!

  • I'm pleased to announce that live workshops are now available to purchase as online courses in my online shop - you'll receive unlimited access to the PDF Printable Booklets and the Live Zoom Recording of the workshops so you can watch, learn and replay in your own time and space.

New Product Launch

  • The launch of my new Beeswax and Natural Dye homeware product line also proved a huge success - many of the products sold out in the first 24 hours of release! A huge thank you to all my valued and loyal customers - your support this Christmas was so appreciated!

  • And I'm pleased to say I'm currently sourcing more local organic recycled beeswax so I can make the next batch of hand dipped candles and there are more Natural Dye homeware products currently in the design phase due to be released later this Spring so keep watching this space for new releases...

I hope this blog post has been a welcome break from the overwhelm and onslaught of your first week back at work after the Christmas break and here's to 2021 being a year of more creativity and joy!
