This piece was inspired by the title of my Mother's book - "If You Sit Very Still". The title came from a quote from a dream she had, in which her sister, who had disappeared, told her: "If you sit very still you can hear the sun move".

Favourite Word
This piece was inspired by the client's favourite word "wiggle". It began with calligraphy of the word "wiggle" and developed into a series of stitched wiggly lines based around the natural wiggle of the Thames river.

First Father's Day Gift
Struggling to think of the perfect and adequate first Father's Day gift for her husband, my client requested a bespoke embroidery piece depicting their family as foxes.

"What Remains?"
This piece was inspired by seed pods that, for me, are a symbol of hope for new life and a reminder of the beauty in the continuous cycle of life that is always present.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I commissioned Marigold to produce an artwork as a gift for my partner on his first Fathers Day. The result moved him to tears and is a unique and beautiful thing that will be treasured forever.
